Course Overview

This course is designed for production operators who are looking to expand their skill set into the field of maintenance. It provides a foundational understanding of maintenance practices, focusing on essential concepts in electrical, mechanical, and power fluid systems, along with critical safety protocols.

Course Objectives

  • Understand the basic principles of electrical systems and their maintenance.

  • Gain insights into power fluids, including hydraulics and pneumatics.

1. Introduction to Maintenance

4. Power Fluids Maintenance

  • Understanding hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Components of fluid power systems (pumps, valves, actuators)
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of fluid power systems

5. Safety in Maintenance

  • Importance of safety in maintenance work
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Safety protocols and emergency procedures
